✅ Railway Paramedical Eligibility Criteria
DIETICIAN – B.Sc. in Science with a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics, or a B.Sc. in Home Science plus an M.Sc. in Home Science (Food and Nutrition).
STAFF NURSE – Requires a Certificate as a Registered Nurse and Midwife with a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course, or a B.Sc. in Nursing.
Essential Criteria for Dental Hygienists:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, specializing in Biology.
- Successful completion of a rigorous 2-year Diploma/Certificate Program in Dental Hygiene.
- Official registration with the prestigious Dental Council of India, signifying professional recognition and compliance with industry standards.
- Demonstrated proficiency through a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the field of Dental Hygiene, ensuring a high level of competence and expertise.
Dialysis Technician Qualifications:
- Holders of a B.Sc. Degree, complemented by a specialized Diploma in Haemodialysis.
- Alternatively, individuals with a proven track record of at least 2 years of hands-on training/experience in Haemodialysis within a respected institution.
Extension Educator Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Social Work, or related Community Education fields.
- Plus, acquisition of a specialized 2-year diploma in Health Education, enriching expertise in the domain.
Requirements for Health and Malaria Inspector Grade III:
- Holding a B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as the Main/Optional subject, covering various branches of Chemistry during the program.
- Alternatively, having completed a one-year Diploma of Health/Sanitary Inspector.
- Or, achieving a one-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspection.
Lab Superintendent Grade III Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree specialized in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Science, or with Chemistry and Biology as main or optional/subsidiary subjects, or an equivalent qualification.
- Moreover, holding a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) or an equivalent certification.
- Alternatively, having earned a B.Sc. degree in Medical Technology (Laboratory).
Optometrist Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Optometry or have completed a 3 to 4-year duration Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician. Moreover, registration with the pertinent council/licensing body is essential.
Perfusionist Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree along with a Diploma in Perfusion Technology. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree are eligible, provided they have accrued three years of experience as a Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician in a reputable recognized hospital.
Physiotherapist Qualifications:
Candidates must have successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Furthermore, they should possess a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the field of Physiotherapy.
Requirements for Pharmacist Grade III:
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Completion of 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, coupled with a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution. Additionally, registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 is mandatory.
- Alternatively, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized university or its equivalent. Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 is also required.
Radiographer Qualifications:
Candidates should have:
- Successfully completed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry.
- Obtained a Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology from a recognized institute, usually a 2-year program.
- Preference may be given to Science graduates who hold a Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology, which is also typically a 2-year course.
Speech Therapist Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
- Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Audio and Speech Therapy.
- Successfully completed a Diploma program in Audio and Speech Therapy.
- Accumulated at least 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
ECG Technician Requirements:
Candidates should have completed either 10+2 or Graduation in Science. Additionally, they must hold a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician, or Cardiology Techniques.
Qualifications for Lady Health Visitor:
Candidates should have successfully completed Matriculation (10th grade) and 12th grade, along with certification in a Multipurpose Workers Course.
Qualifications for Lab Assistant Grade II:
Candidates should have:
- Successfully completed 10+2 in Science.
- Obtained a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
- Alternatively, completion of a Certificate Course in Medical Lab in addition to a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
✅ Railway Paramedical Selection Process
The Railway Paramedical positions selection process will be carried out through a Single Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT). Negative marking will be in effect for incorrect responses, with one-third of the marks allotted for each question deducted for each wrong answer.
