✅ Railway Paramedical Eligibility Criteria

DIETICIAN – Applicants should possess either a B.Sc. degree in Science with a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics, or a B.Sc. degree in Home Science combined with an M.Sc. in Home Science (Food and Nutrition).

STAFF NURSE – Qualification Requirement: Certified as a Registered Nurse and Midwife through completion of a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course, or possessing a B.Sc. in Nursing.

DENTAL HYGIENIST – Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology).Successful completion of a 2-year Diploma or Certificate course in Dental Hygiene. Registration with the Dental Council of India as a Dental Hygienist. At least 2 years of practical experience as a Dental Hygienist.

DIALYSIS TECHNICIAN – Candidates must possess either a B.Sc. Degree with a Diploma in Haemodialysis or a minimum of 2 years of satisfactory in-house training or experience in Haemodialysis work at a recognized institution.

EXTENSION EDUCATOR – Education Requirement: A degree in Sociology, Social Work, or Community Education, complemented by a 2-year diploma in Health Education.

HEALTH AND MALARIA INSPECTOR GRADE III – B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as a Main or Optional subject. One-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector, or One-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector.

LAB SUPERINTENDENT GRADE III – B.Sc. with Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Science, or with Chemistry and Biology as main or optional/subsidiary subjects, or an equivalent qualification, along with a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) or its equivalent. Alternatively, a B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Laboratory).

OPTOMETRIST – B.Sc. in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (course duration of 3 to 4 years). Registration with the appropriate council or licensing body is required for the candidate.

PERFUSIONIST – B.Sc. with a Diploma in Perfusion Technology, or B.Sc. with three years of experience as a Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician in a reputable recognized hospital.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST –  Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the field of Physiotherapy.

PHARMACIST GRADE III – Completion of 10+2 in Science or its equivalent with a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948; or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized university or its equivalent, with registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

RADIOGRAPHER –  Completion of 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry, accompanied by a Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology (2-year course) from a recognized institute. Preference will be granted to candidates who are Science graduates holding the same diploma.

SPEECH THERAPIST – B.Sc. Degree with a Diploma in Audio and Speech Therapy. At least 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

ECG TECHNICIAN –  Completion of 10+2 or graduation in Science with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician, or related techniques.

LADY HEALTH VISITOR – Matriculation (10th class) completed, along with passing the 12th class with a Multipurpose Workers course.

LAB ASSISTANT GRADE II – Completion of 10+2 in Science with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), or Certificate in Medical Lab with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).

✅ Railway Paramedical Selection Process

The selection process for Railway Paramedical positions will include a Single Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), where negative marking will be implemented. Incorrect answers will result in a deduction of one-third of the allocated marks for each wrong response in the CBT.

✅ Steps to Apply for Railway Paramedical Recruitment 2024
